CCI Club Elections 2022

#CCIElections22

Dear Fellow Members

Personally I have supported the cause of professionalizing our CCI Club over the past 12+ years.

This is evident from http://bit.ly/rdb_kyc and http://bit.ly/odcachance as examples of my views expressed. More so at http://bit.ly/cciprofessionalize where I have explained that .... 'good Governance with Transparency in managing our club, and constantly developing member services, as we increase member facilities and infrastructure. A well made CCI and a well served membership, must go together.'

I had chosen to support Madhumati last year as she too understands that organizations must deploy standard management practices. She wants to work towards it and believes that if she gets the right support on the EC this will be possible.

Accordingly this year I have chosen to support her with Rajan, Satyapal, Sanju and Ranjeet.

CCI Club Elections 2020

As a mix of change and continuity ....
why I propose to vote for :

1. Darius Pandole is on the top of my list, a mile high above the rest, as I believe he stands for excellence in Governance, Management and Sports and has a humble disposition and calm temperament.
2. Satyapal Jain, an adversary in the last decade when I worked closely with Sevantibhai Parekh but then he, as many others did, understood my neutrality when it came to standing for elections myself in an endeavour to work on our clubs organisation development. I believe that he will provide the necessary checks and balances to any unsuitable and misplaced plans for our club, burgeoning from groups within aka an opposition within.
3. Darayus Mehta who I believe has wisened over time and should be handed back his roles in house keeping and F&B.
4. Neelkamal Siraj to bring in change and support his close ally Suresh Agarwal in ensuring an EC with diversity aka the opposition within. He needs a chance to work beyond the health club.
5. Premal Udani who I will be voting for the first time ever, and as such a matter we both laugh over together. But through the pandemic he has steered the club and caused a graded opening up.
6. The 4 other candidates I have no complaints about but I can vote for 5 only and have made my choice and expect that 3/5 are likely to succeed.
7. Let's see how the traffic and parking issues on Dinshaw Vachha Road are managed. My own past contribution is explained at http://bit.ly/takestime Now the question is whether or not our club can augment parking space as a responsible institution should. As a resident of CCI Chambers our club is a part of my first home.
8. Will the voting patterns change with the introduction of online voting, this remains to be seen.
